Because it was cold, the servants and officers were standing around a charcoal fire they had made to keep warm. Peter also was standing with them and warming himself. | John 18:18
A short time later someone else saw him and said, “I'm sure, you also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I tell you, I am not!” | Luke 22:58

Why are you asking me? Ask those who listened and heard what I said to them, surely they know what I said.” | John 18:21
When he had spoken, an officer standing nearby struck Jesus on the face and said, “Is that the way you answer the high priest?” | John 18:22
Jesus replied, “If I have spoken wrongly, testify as to what I said was wrong. But if I have spoken rightly then why do you strike me?” | John 18:23
Then Annas sent him back to Caiaphas, who was waiting in the temple courtyard. | John 18:24
Jesus before the Council
They took Jesus to the high priest Caiaphas, and all the other chief priests, the elders, and the scribes were assembled, conferred together against Jesus in order to bring about his death. | Mark 14:53, Matthew 27:1
Peter had followed at a distance, right into the high priest's courtyard, and he was sitting with the guards and warming himself at the fire. | Mark 14:54
Now the chief priests and the whole council were desperately searching for testimony against Jesus so that they could to put him to death, but they found nothing credible. | Mark 14:55

But even on this point their testimony was not understood at all by anyone. | Mark 14:59
So then the high priest stood up before the court and questioned Jesus, “Do you have no answer? What is it that they are testifying against you?” | Mark 14:60
Jesus looked at them and said, “I am he who exists from the undivided. I came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. | Gospel of Thomas 61, 50, 28, 56 synthesis
But I have appeared to you in flesh and found you all intoxicated; I found none of you thirsty. You have found the world, and he who has found the world has found only a corpse.” | Gospel of Thomas 61, 50, 28, 56 synthesis
The high priest, confounded and enraged by these words, struck Jesus across the face. “Sorcery!” he shouted. “You speak in riddles to hide your wickedness. Show us a sign! If you are not of this world, then who is your father?”
But he was silent and did not answer further. Again the high priest pressed him further, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” | Mark 14:61
Knowing that they would not understand the truth and seeking to end his time in this place, he said, “I am, and ‘you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Almighty’ and ‘coming with the clouds of heaven.’” | Mark 14:62
Then the high priest yelled and tore his clothes and screamed, “Why do we still need witnesses? | Mark 14:63
You have heard his blasphemy! Have you come to a decision?” All of them condemned him guilty and deserving death. | Mark 14:64
Some began to spit on him, to blindfold him, and to strike him, saying to him, “Prophesy! Who is it who struck you?”. The guards also took him, beat him and heaped many insults on him. | Mark 14:65, Luke 22:64-65
